Refund & Return Policy

At Note House, we prioritize your satisfaction. All of our products — journals, planners, mugs, and candles — are personalized and made to order. Because of this, we're not able to accept returns for change of mind, sizing, or personal preference once an order enters the "production" stage.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or with a printing/production error, contact us within 7 days of receiving it along with a photo of the issue. In most cases, this is all we need to send you a replacement or refund — no need to send anything back.

Return Eligibility (damage or error claims only)

In some cases, we may ask you to send the item back to us before issuing a replacement or refund, so we can review it directly and work with our print partner on a correction. If a return is requested, we'll provide clear instructions, and any shipping details will be worked out with you directly at that time.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized items, except for damage or printing errors as outlined above.
  • Used items, sale items, seasonal items, or gift cards.
  • Perishable goods, personal care items, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

How to Request a Return or Refund

  1. Contact Us: Email us at info@notehouseshop.com with a description and photo of the issue.
  2. Review: We'll assess the photo and let you know next steps — most issues are resolved this way without needing the item back.
  3. If a Return Is Needed: We'll provide instructions on where to send your item and cover the details with you directly. Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Refunds

Once approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days, or a replacement will be shipped. Please note, your bank or credit card company may take additional time to process a refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you haven't received your refund, please contact us at info@notehouseshop.com.
